Tools of the Trade

Triple ‘S’ Termite & Pest Control utilizes a number of products and techniques to combat pests in your home:
INSPECTION: Finding and identifying pests and determining their source is important. Inspection is an ongoing process used to evaluate, and alter as necessary treatment strategies at your home. BAITS: Baits combine attractants with an active ingredient to make the act of feeding a deadly one for target pest(s). Baits are the safest often most effective and complete products available.
EXTERIOR PERIMETER TREATMENT: Pests often live and breed outdoors eventually finding their way into your home. Perimeter treatments provide a long-term barrier around your home. COMMUNICATION: There are many measures homeowners can take in order to decrease or eliminate the threat of certain pests. We advise our clients of these measures when they apply.
INSECT GROWTH REGULATORS: IGR’s are products designed to mimic and disrupt the natural hormones of certain pests, providing a unique and effective weapon against many difficult pests. VOID TREATMENT: Dark, enclosed spaces (i.e. behind walls, under cabinets, etc.) often provide perfect places for pests. We use specialized products and equipment to address these areas.
EXCLUSION: Keeping pests out of the home are often the easiest and most effective pest control. We perform many exclusion tactics ourselves, and inform our clients of any they should perform. TRAPS: Traps are a non-chemical, pest-specific way of dealing with rodents and other target pests. Traps are used as a first line of defense, or in situations where chemical use is inappropriate.
ULTRA LOW VOLUME TREATMENT: Air currents in open areas (attics, crawl spaces) carry highly concentrated ULV products into the recessed hidden areas of hard-to-reach pests. MONITORING: Using non-chemical monitoring devices and detailed service reports, we are able to determine and track the number and distribution of pests in your home.
CRACK & CREVICE: Because pests so often live and hide in small spaces, injecting materials into cracks & crevices ensures maximum exposure to pests and minimum exposure to people and pets. DIRECTED CONTACT: Directed contact is a method of application designed to either flush a target pest from its harborage area, or leave a product residual which affects them on contact.
