DR. TIMOTHY H. DICKENS
Dr. Timothy Dickens gained hands on experience in every phase of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) conducted in the urban environment while participating in the world’s largest urban pest management program, the Department of Defense (DoD) Pest Management Program. As a Navy Entomologist he was a major developer of training courses leading to EPA category certification in pest management. Dr. Dickens developed and conducted IPM training for U. S. Navy Ships in the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. He was a frequent presenter in DoD workshops and a regular lecturer at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is a member of Phi Sigma Research Honor Society and holds EPA category certification in Urban and Industrial; and Public Health. Dr. Dickens served as Triple ’S’ Pest Services Staff Entomologist for 18 years.
Dr. Trosper served 20 years as a commissioned officer in the Medical Services Corps of the US Navy supervising training programs in medical entomology and pest management for military and civilian personnel. In addition, Dr. Trosper has extensive experience searching scientific databases which he used to prepare Disease Vector Ecology Profiles that are used by military medical planners. He has authored numerous articles published in scientific journals and served as an adjunct faculty member for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Trosper is currently an entomological consultant to private companies and government agencies.
TIMOTHY J. MCGONEGAL, MS, BCE
Timothy McGonegal is a board certified Entomologist by the Entomological Society of America and provides consulting services. He also trains technicians and develops pest management protocols. As head of the Mosquito and Forest Pest Management in Prince William County, he provided public education and implemented an IPM approach to their mosquito control program. He has worked as a biologist, supervised vector control programs, conducted workshops on mosquito biology and control, and held Public Health Pesticide applicators licenses in both VA and NC.
